Lino Cervar - Handball



- Lino Červar je hrvatski rukometni trener.
- Rođen je 22.9.1950. Delići kod Vrsara (Istra).
- Najuspješniji je izbornik Hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije u povijesti.
- Trenutno je trener RK Metalurga iz Skoplja.
- Trenersku karijeru počeo je u Rukometnom klubu Triko iz Novigrada 1974. godine.
- Od 1980. trenira Istraturist iz Umaga s kojim se iz pete lige tijekom pet sezona plasirao u prvu Saveznu ligu Jugoslavije.
- Od 1991 trenira ASKÖ SVVW Klagenfurt iz Austrije.
- Od 1994. do 2000. godine bio je trener i izbornik Talijanske rukometne reprezentacije i direktor svih talijanskih rukometnih selekcija.
- 2002. je imenovan izbornikom Hrvatske rukometne reprezentacije s kojom osvaja sljedeće medalje.
- Zlato na OI Atena 2004.
- Zlato na svjetskom prvenstvu Portugal 2003.
- Srebro na svjetskom prvenstvu Tunis 2005.
- Srebro na svjetskom prvenstvu Hrvatska 2009.
- Srebro na Evropskom prvenstvu Norveška 2008.
Trenirao je još sljedeće klubove: RK Zagreb, RK Papilon Conversano (Italija).
- Dvostruki je dobitnik Državne nagrade za šport "Franjo Bučar", 2003. godine osobne, te kao član reprezentacije 2004. godine.
- Od 2003. - 2007. je bio zastupnik u petom sazivu Hrvatskog sabora.

Training is still the following clubs: RK Zagreb, RK Papillon Conversano (Italy).

- Since 2003. - 2007. was a member of the fifth session of the Croatian Parliament.
