- Vanja Udovičić (krsno mu je ime Franjo) je srpski
vaterpolist, kapetan srbijanske vaterpolske reprezentacije.
- Rođen je 12.9.1982. u Beogradu.
- Otac mu je istarski Hrvat, a majka je Srpkinja,
pa zato ima i hrvatsko i srpsko državljanstvo.
- Igrao je za Beogradski Partizan i Jadran iz
Herceg Novog odakle prelazi u talijanski Pro Reco.
- Pošto nije htio igrati za Talijansku reprezentaciju
dolazi u sukob s klubom te nakon isteka ugovora
16.92010. potpisuje za zagrebačku Mladost.
- Sa reprezentacijom Srbije osvaja:
-Srebro na OI u Ateni 2004.
Broncu na OI u Pekingu 2008.
- Zlato na Svetskom prvenstvu u Montrealu 2005.
Zlato na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Rimu 2009.
- Zlato na Evropskom prvenstvu u Beogradu 2008.
Srebro na Evropskom prvenstvu u Malagi 2008.
Broncu na Evropskom prvenstvu u Zagrebu 2010.
- Osvajač je i zlata i bronce na Svetskom kupu,
kao i dva zlata i bronce u Svjetskoj ligi.
- Proglašen je za najboljeg igrača Svjetskog prvenstva 2009,
kao i na Evropskom prvenstvu 2010 u Zagrebu.


- Vanja Udovicic (his baptismal name Francis) is a Serbian
water polo player, captain of the Serbian water polo team.
